Central to the religious life of the school is the person of Jesus Christ who came among us β€˜as one who serves’ (Luke 22.27). Our Catholic school is committed to reaching out to help those in need, through charitable outreach initiatives. All outreach activities connect to the person of Jesus Christ and to the sacraments, especially the Eucharist. Drawing on the Catholic Social Teaching of the Church, we have a deep commitment to supporting a range of charitable organisations, families and individuals in need.

In our relationships we demonstrate respect and integrity with a deep concern for the disadvantaged. Students are encouraged to be community minded, with each year group taking on the responsibility for a particular charity; some of these include Caritas, The Children’s Hospital and St Vincent de Paul.

In the lead up to Christmas, the generosity of school families is always incredible, as they contribute food hampers and gifts to the local CatholicCare to distribute to local families in need. In recent years, a number of Year 11 students have trained and volunteered in local schools as catechists.
